Wash the filter with water and reactivate the carbon granules in the oven at less than 100 degrees for 10 minutes:

Unlike other carbon filters, the LONGLIFE carbon filter can be cleaned and reactivated. In normal use, the filter should be cleaned every two months (when the fan is in use for 2.5 hours a day, on average). The best way to clean the filter is in the dishwasher. Use normal detergent and select the highest temperature (65°C). Wash the filter separately so that food particles do not stick to the filter and later cause bad odors. To activate the carbon, the filter should be dried in the oven for 10 minutes, at a maximum temperature of 100°C. After approximately three years of use, the carbon filter should be replaced with a new one.
