Drive belts

Washing machine drive belt is quite easy to change. Install the new belt fisrt to the motor axle and then wind it on the drum pulley. Present machines have tight belts, so just use some force to get the belt installed.


Elastic belts (EL, MAEL...)

Present washing machines have elastic drive belts. Usually the belts is marked with EL, ELA, MAEL, PJE, EPJ. Install the new belt fisrt to the motor axle and then wind it on the drum pulley. Present machines have tight belts, so just use some force to get the belt installed.

Non-elastic belts

Non-elastic belts

Older washing machines have non-elastic drive belts. The belts have no "E" -marking. Tightness is adjusted by turning the motor outwards. Non-elastic belts fit for many machines from the 70´s, 80´s & 90´s.
