Refrigerator freezer bottom door (freezer) seal. Replaces part ADX73450613. Original spare part for many LG series models. Check the fit table for your model.

NB! Check that the old seal can be removed from the door (should be removed by pulling it out of the groove. If the seal is glued together, it cannot be replaced).

When replacing the door seal, you must take into account the shrinkage of the seal that arrives as a spare part during storage. When replacing the seal, it is usually always necessary to do so-called seal sensitization and reshaping so that it fits tightly between the door and the frame. The new seal is installed on the door, after which the door is closed. We examine which parts of the seal need to be shaped. The part to be shaped is carefully heated, for example with a hair dryer, and the seal is stretched in the desired direction. The door is closed and the seal is allowed to settle into its new shape at least overnight with the cabinet door closed. This procedure usually requires some experience, so we recommend using a home appliance installer to replace the seal.
