You need a carbon filter if the air sucked in by your cooker hood is returned to the room air. Washable and reactivated Long Life filter: wash and activate the filter every 6-12 months to maintain the best filtration performance. Replace the filter with a new one after about ten activations.

Wash the filter in the dishwasher on a normal cycle without detergent. Let it dry in a dry place for 1-2 days or in the oven (max 100 degrees for 10 min) before reinstalling. Repeat the washing every 3-4 months to maintain the best filtration performance. Replace the filter with a new one every 2-3 years.
