The metal sleeve for the shaft seal located in the shaft of the washing machine drum. Against this surface, the seal between the tub basin and the shaft is compacted. Replace the part with a new one if you notice scratches or wear in the old sleeve during the bearing repair of the machine.

Replacing this part requires special skills; the old sleeve must be cut with an angle grinder and the installation of the new one is done using thermal expansion by cooling the shaft and heating the sleeve.
