After 15 years of heavy use, the buttons on my Bamix started to come loose. The buttons are integral to this top half cover of the handle. The spare fit perfectly (of course, since it's an original). It took me about 30 minutes to do the exchange. Two wires had to be desoldered, to remove the switch circuit board inside the handle. Other than that, just four screws. This was a simple repair. I'm looking forward to at least 15 more years :-)
